Sometimes, when people find out that I’m an atheist they say,
Oh my goodness, how can you be an atheist? That doesn’t even make sense at all. The whole universe couldn’t have come from nothing. That’s so stupid. Use your brain. God did it.
and I’m like
Well, where did God come from?
And usually this shuts them up for a few seconds before they reply with
God was just always here. Because he’s God. You know, eternal existence and all? The Bible said so.
To which I respond with:
Why does everybody always think I’m being sarcastic?
